Steve "jonessb" Jones

In 1989 I was involved in a jeep rollover in Gypsum, Colorado. I have no memory of the accident or the 3 months following the accident. I really do not know the time of 2 months before either. I was flown from Vail to Denver General Hospital and spent 2 months in Denver General. I was taken to Mediplex Rehab in Thornton, Colorado. I was told about the 2 months in denver general. I spent 1 month at Mediplex that I don't remember. I have no knowledge of the 3 months of hospitalization. I remember 1 month of rehab. I know the morning I woke up and can remember some things from that point. My memories are kind of spotty from there on.

I had planned on getting married before my accident but when the date approached I was in the hospital. One month after rehab I did get married and 6 years later was divorced. There were atleast 2 wonderful things that came out of that marriage. My oldest daughter is my exes. I have raised her since she was 3 years old. I adopted her legally after marriage but I feel she has always been mine. My baby was born in 1990. I am very much connected to my children even though my divorce got very nasty and legally lost my children. Not a good thing. Even though things were not good in the divorce, or after, my girls and I are connected very closely. We only have, and mostly have, had phone contact because their mother moved them out of state. My oldest is in Nebraska and she's married. My youngest lives in Utah. Visitation is very hard to do. I met my new wife on the internet in March of 2001. She shortly moved here from NYC and we were married on May 8th, 2004. She supports and takes care of me very well. She helps me through all of my problems. Since we have been married my youngest has had the opportunity to come for summer visits. We had Keysha ( my youngest) for about a month this summer.
