My name is Shari Jasso and I have an eleven year old daughter who both her and I were in a car accident on March 11, 2001. She underwent 6 1/2 hours of brain surgery on the day of the accident and was then transported to another hospital where in she was on a ventilator for 4 weeks. I brought my daughter home May the 7th after moving into another house and preparing for 24 hour nursing care at my home. She has remained comatose but is slowy improving. Her injuires were to the left frontal lobe and temporal lobe and she is unable to swallow, talk and can only move her left arm and leg. She has recently started to move the right side of her body. No one can seem to provide any answers to when and if my daughter will improve but I work with her everyday in hopes of her making some slight improvement. This has been the most trying experience of my life and we just found out last week that she can read what we ask her to point to.
Please e mail me with similiar or like information.
