UpdateIt is now (08/06/02) nearly eight years post coma and my special gift. Today I speak to groups, basically anyone who will allow me, using my potters wheel. The general topic is "Centering" clay on a wheel and centering in your life. I do what I do because I am driven by Him. It has become a very rewarding life for me today. I would never have guessed in a million years that motivational speaking would become my "occu-passion". My TBI was the result of an unobstructed fall of about 25-30 feet head first onto concrete. A week long coma followed and three weeks of rehabilitation was what my insurance could afford. I have only now repaid the balance due to the hospital after seven years. My life has changed in ways I could have never anticipated. I have lost my memory, my businesses, my properties, my marriage, my future goals and plans and my sense of optimism about this society. Other than that I am well and alive.
