Leaving the city or regret
My time is short and this I know
I won't get out alive.
I'm going "up", up to the gate,
I refuse to take a dive.
Demons and Devil are trying hard
I will not let them win
I've lived in the city of regret too long
because of where I've been.
As I leave the city of regret
with all its famous folk
I look into my future here
I smile and laugh and joke.
