LETTER FROM A FRIEND

"The soul of a man, an musician, a song writer, but most outstanding is his love for his children. A loving father a blessing for his children.

I share this writing "Davy" sent Blu and I when we first met in tbichat room.

We met in Tbichat

Hi my name is David Foster,i was born in New Castle Australia=4-20-61.
We moved to the states when I was 1 yr old. Grew up in Bristol CT. Went to Bristol Eastern High, where I met my sweethaert. We dated all thru high school, after grad in 79 we married on 10-11-79. We had that special love few find in this world. Then in 1980
our twin boys Davy Jr and Kris were born (21 now) first babies that year plus twins.
Then in 1982 our little girl Jessica was born, (my wife almost died having her).

Our lives were great, kids were great plus we all had a good life at that time.
I loved camping, surfing, sailing, jetskiing going to fairs, tag sales, and car shows.
In 1986 my wife had our fourth child but died having him. See, she was told after having Jessica not to have anymore kids, as she could die next time for sure.

If I had known this then, it would never have happened.

Well, I raised my three kids on my own, never re-married, I focused on my kids only.
I have always been a song writter, eventually got a break and (HOPE).
We hit the road in summer 99 up till that fatefull day 4-18-00.
There is no greater high than being up there on stage, performing in front of a large audiance.
It was a blast, then the accident happened 4-18-00.

After that time, my life has never been the same.

To come to know "Davy" enriches our soul by his determination, endurance and compassion for his fellow peers, particularly those that face the same physical limitations as he does, yet he manages to seek the gifts in others as he shares his love to those that touch his life.
