Time, Time suddenly stood still today as I realized today, that it had been a year since we last stopped hearing from you as we used to each morning in tbichat.
The crisp mornings or your afternoon bike rides you took daily, come rain or shine. We seemed to be able to envision each bike ride as you so vividly described them to us all.
Such memories of you, though you no longer are here with us all, It is the reality of having come to know you that warms our heart. You shared so much with us all, you gave of yourself to many and yet that was the core of your being,
A kind, loving, caring soul that always made time for each and everyone of us.
You caused us to smile or to be comforted as we many times felt overwhelmed when we could not understand the ever changing challenges with life post tbi/bi whether it was a survivor, cargiver, family or friend who faced recovery.
Your incredible intelligence and sincere heart, were evident by the seeds of love and compassion you planted in our hearts.
The hands that laboriously worked continuously to do research in the net or to read the books and books that were stacked alongside your chair, was the soil that brought forth fruitage. Like a banquet of rich and varied foods and drink, you provided freely to all, the knowledge you discovered.
Memories of You
The warm beautiful smile you always had revealed the depth of your heart and soul. No matter where you were, out in the snow with your jean gear or at a special occasion in a suit, your spirit radiated onto others with your smile.
Your devotion and dedication for your peers has not been forgotten as somehow you opened a path for Blu and I as I know you did for many that came to know you.
It is beyond words the joy and the happines that Blu and I have experienced, coming to know how much you were loved not only by your peers but by your immediate family members.
As if finding and opening a treasure chest, is to have come to know your wonderful family.
If only you knew how much your past work and love has impacted us to seek that same passion of being thankful for having survived TBI/BI or having a loved one that has survived as your persona always encouraged us to live each moment to the fullest.
Memories of you.
Reflections of the love you showered us with
A friend who loved and has left behind a path for us to walk on.
