Update December 10, 2005
Thanks to my Parents whom brought back my Daugther into my life when I was at
St. Marys of the Lake in Kingston. This little girl is my world and my life to this
day and my futer I just hope she can deal with all my changes! I love you so much it
doesn't hurt any more!
Hello I'm Mike Seaborn I was in a car crash Aug. 22, 1998 that was 7 years
ago. A long 7 years but not an idile 7, I'm now an Hon. Member for the Marmora &
Lake Ontario Canada Fire Dept. I do the Hall Chores so the Firefighters do not have
to. I have suffered Severe Traumatic Brain Injury, I walk, talk, see, and have a
little trouble hearing and my talking has a little speech inpedament. I love the
time spent on my PC, I did a College course with my Rehab Assistant and got a 95% in
Windows 98. 98 is now old but not full of dust so I'm still content. In October in
Peterborough I am doing a Conference session on Is Fire Pervention for everyone! You
see it is, I searched internet engines in Canada and found 2 sites that explian a
little and not many Fire Dept. will give Fire Prevention and Escape classes for the
disabled. In my area you travel to Kingston with my caregiver, it should be that
even town volunteer Fire Dept. give the Disable person the same respect as children
and the non - mobility restricted, with Fire Prevention and Escape! This is our
right as a human beings.
