Hello,
My name is Marty Bond it all started September 04 2001.I was at the gym working out.And I passed out. I went to the hospital and them gave me a MRI and found out that I had a huge brain stem aneurysm that was leaking. It took the doctors two weeks to figure out how to operate on me.It was a success and I will have a 100% recovery.But two weeks later I stroked out and it paralyzed my right side.I am only 42 years old and the rehab unit did not know how to deal with a young person with a stroke.The hardest part is for me the stroke was all physical and cognitively I'm fine.Its been hard on my wife and kids I just hope things will get better.As time goes along.My daughter had to write a note in a four leaf clover at school for St. Patrick's Day and she wrote I'm lucky cause my dad is still alive.I hope she's right.Thank You for reading this story.
