I graduated May 25th. 1997, and then on June the 25th. in the same year I fell from a rock cliff. I was still partying for my graduation, and I went to a pretty big rock cliff with 3 so-called friends. We all stepped over the edge to a ledge about 3 feet down, where we talked, drank beer, and smoked a little dope. I must have had to much to drink, for they went up to the top first and then while I was trying to step up I lost my balance, and fell off backwards. The reason I call them my so-called friends is they never came to see me in the hospital, or called me after I came home. I went to see the fire department and ambulance squad who rescued me, and they told me I fell 80 feet, rolled 30, and had I rolled another 10 I would've fallen 20 more. Recovery has been a long hard battle, but now in 2002, I've started walking on my own. I am also currently going to college at Shawnee State University, where I'm studying to be a legal assistant. To all you younger people who think that drinking, and doing drugs is kool think about me the next time your smoken a joint or drinken a beer, because I was just like you at one time. I thought I was on top of the world and that I was invincible, needless to say now I know I'm not.
