On April 18 2002 I had just returned from work. I have worked as a nurse assistant for the past 20 years. I decided since it was such a beautiful day I would scrub my deck. I was almost finished and was going to finish on the stairs. I have no memory of what happened next, but when I came to I was laying on the cement below. I had a large hematoma on the left side of my head. My husband was on the other side of the house and some how I crawled into the house to find him. I was then taken to the ER had catscan and c-spine x-rays. The MD told me to go home and rest and to expect headaces for at least 3 weeks. Sinc then I have not been able to work due to TBI. I have had numerous MD appointments and no one seems to know what to do for me. I have had every test there is. Diagnoised with post concussion syndrom. My job will only be held for me for one more month and I know I can't possibly perform my duties since they are so physical. Isuffer from dizziness,fatigue, anxiety,confusion,depression and a few other's. If there is anyone out there with the same kind of injury and story, please email me.
