Hi i'm becky from texas and i am a survivor of a traumatic brain injury (tbi). the cross is a symbol of my life today as i am a strong Christian warrior willing to pray for you anytime you have a need. i have lost much from this injury, life, self-identity, memory, but the constant remains - my love for God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. i have learned i have a very strong spirit of God in me, i have the spiritual gifts of prophesy, empathy intercessory prayer and much more. when i lost the old me, i found something greater, a close loving relationship with God. Please respect the fact that these photos are all copywritten..ty If you would like to use one you must contact me for permission prior to there use. All rights reserved. One day i hope to make a living at this so please be courteous. God Bless! Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Amen! (\o/)

This is me christmas 2002. my son took my picture. i don't remember him but thru the help of my Christian psychologist, ph.D, i am learning to knw my son.

This is my baby ... a rescued great dane... named Duke, dukie, dukeapotus, dukester, hey you.. he loves me unconditionally especially when i let him snuggle with me or give him a big treat! he loves to lean on me, watch tv and especially loves his ears rubbed. if i'm in my lil kitchen he's not far from me grin!

This is bluey blue, my blue face (front) parrot who talks up a storm. He's a male, tested and about 3 yrs old...he loves to bite fingers especially if he does not no you.. his name is blue but that is what he calls me.. he sings, lalala and some words to Christian music, hello, hellobluey, say bye bye, i love you, peekaboo, helphelphelp! ... i'm a lil green dukie quack quack quack, here dukie come on come on, whatzup, whatcha doing and much more! i call him blue, blue bird, bluey, blueybird, bird, ouchie..

This picture was taken a few months before i sustained my tbi .. i don't remember her.. but here are some stats...On 1/4/01 I held a bachelor's degree (with high honors) of science, major in nursing, minor in microbiology. I had proudly graduated in the top 10% of my class, magna cum laude, GPA 3.87. I was excited about my life, and was looking forward to starting medical school; in fact I had only 4 classes remaining before I could start. I was nurse successfully working in my field. I was in love with a decent Christian man. I had a 21 year old son from a previous 20 year marriage I had the courage to end only a year or so before. I was doing volunteer work, community service and advocacy work constantly. I believe I was happy, from all accounts that what I am told.
